They specialise in commercial and public sector projects, working closely with Public Sector Clients, such as Education, Healthcare, Leisure & Blue Light, offering end-to-end services from feasibility and planning through to construction and handover.

My client are seeking an experienced Freelance Contracts Manager to join their team on a flexible, project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage contract processes efficiently while supporting their mission to deliver sustainable construction solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-construction to project completion
  • Provide expert contractual advice to project teams and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction, especially Fitout & Refurb experience
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Interest or experience in sustainable construction is a strong advantage
  • SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS is a bonus
