My client are seeking an experienced Freelance Contracts Manager to join their team on a flexible, project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage contract processes efficiently while supporting their mission to deliver sustainable construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards
- Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-construction to project completion
- Provide expert contractual advice to project teams and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction, especially Fitout & Refurb experience
- Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Interest or experience in sustainable construction is a strong advantage
- SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS is a bonus
