Location: Warwick

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

Hybrid: 2 / 3 days in office

Role Purpose

This fixed-term role (3-6 months) offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated junior designer to refine and develop their skills in creating visually engaging, user-friendly training materials. The post-holder will collaborate with experienced team members to design and develop content using creative approaches and content management tools, ensuring the training resources are accessible and align with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing creative, interactive training materials that support learning objectives.
  • Use PageTiger (or similar tools) to create engaging digital documents, with guidance and support.
  • Contribute to incorporating multimedia elements, layouts, and visual storytelling to enhance comprehension.
  • Help apply logical frameworks to structure content for seamless navigation and effective learning.
  • Review content for accuracy, grammar, branding alignment, and accessibility, with senior team input.
  • Explore new design techniques to improve engagement and effectiveness, with team support.
  • Partner with HR teams and SMEs to understand training needs and incorporate feedback into content design.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Basic proficiency in PageTiger or similar cloud-based content tools.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and ideally some experience using Articulate 360 or similar learning design tools.
  • A creative eye for design and the ability to structure content logically for clarity and usability.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring deliverables are accurate and professional.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
