After several years of positive performance, this company is now looking to add a Construction Underwriter to their team.
Your new role
The primary focus of the role will be writing profitable Construction business. The role is broker facing, so expect engagement with their already strong panel, but existing relationships you can bring will also be beneficial.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Writing an account of Construction Direct & Facultative business
- Liaising with brokers to maintain and build support for the product offering
- Where necessary, liaising with capacity providers
- Work closely with the support team to efficiently process written business and mid-term queries
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years experience of underwriting Construction risks
- Experience of managing broker relationships
- Interpersonal skills to proactively deal with brokers
