Monday-Friday, permanent, 08:30-17:00, £33,000, Thornton-Cleveleys, Office based Your new company Join a small but expanding, reputable construction company based in Thornton-Cleveleys. Having been established for over 20 years, this organisation provides comprehensive support services across the UK to a variety of different clients. Due to company growth, they are currently seeking an Office Manager to join the team.
Your new role As a Construction Office Manager, you will take ownership of key office functions that support construction operations. This role involves scheduling work, managing essential documentation, and overseeing procurement processes. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of projects.
You will be responsible for planning and coordinating work schedules, preparing and organising RAMS documentation and overseeing purchasing of materials and equipment. Supporting contract and project administration, maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring health and safety compliance. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative or office management role within construction, facilities management, or a related sector.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages and the ability to learn in-house systems. Experience in scheduling, procurement, and documentation management is required. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work under deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to manage multiple work streams, work well within a team and use your own initiative. Knowledge of health and safety compliance and RAMS preparation is desirable.
