b Overview /b p In this role you will handle a broad range of contentious construction matters for private and public sector clients, including major contractors, consultants and government bodies. You will use alternative dispute resolution tools such as adjudication and mediation, as well as litigation and pre-action protocols. The work spans domestic projects with opportunities to engage in international matters. This position sits in a Tier 1 construction team, offering exposure to high-profile disputes and varied contracting forms. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Handle contentious construction disputes for private and public sector clients /li li Utilise ADR methods including adjudication and mediation, and manage litigation where appropriate /li li Work on pre-action protocol procedures for construction and engineering disputes /li li Engage with projects domestically and potentially internationally /li li Advise on contracts and disputes involving standard form contracts such as JCT, FIDIC and NEC /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in construction disputes /li li Knowledge of standard form contracts JCT, FIDIC and NEC /li li Familiarity with ADR processes and litigation in construction /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li problem-solving /li li client-focused and collaborative /li li ADR (adjudication, mediation) /li li litigation /li li pre-action protocol for construction and engineering disputes /li /ul
