An independent housing provider are hiring a Compliance, Repair and Maintenance Manager in London.
Your new company
Our client are an independent housing provider who provide support and affordable accommodation to single people and those in housing need (both general and supported needs) across North London.
Your new role
As Compliance, Repairs and Maintenance Manager, you will lead our in-house compliance and maintenance team, as well as manage all contracts in relation to facilities, responsive repairs, health and safety and planned maintenance.
You will ensure residents remain at the heart of the service and that our contracts and partners deliver the level of service residents expect. You will also ensure overall compliance with all legislation and regulatory requirements in terms of Health and Safety and Maintenance.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in managing repairs and compliance within a housing environment. To succeed in this role you will require:
- Strong experience managing compliance, repairs & maintenance through third-party contractors
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and management systems
- Experience of working with tenants and residents with a range of vulnerabilities
- Experience in managing budgets
- Experience in identification, assessment, management and resolution of risk
- Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND/trade qualification
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and repairs within housing environments
What you’ll get in return
When successful in securing this role you will receive a permanent contract with an independent housing provider. You will receive:
- £49,465 salary (negotiable for right candidate)
- 25 days leave + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme (3% employee / 7% employer)
- Hybrid working (work from home 2-3 days per week)
