Southend Salary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday days

You will be joining a nationally known aerospace manufacturing business who, due to continuous growth and a gap in the team, are seeking an experienced CNC Miller- Setter/Operator to join their shop floor team. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Operation of CNC machinery
  • Working with Programmers and setters to prepare jobs.
  • Measuring of small-batch components and parts
  • Quality inspection
  • Helping with the training and monitoring of less experienced and junior staff.

This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.

Experience & Skills needed:

  • Previous CNC Operation experience
  • Ideally experience within the aerospace or automotive industries.
  • Ability to read and work to technical engineering drawings
  • Experience with Mazak would be highly beneficial
  • Ability to use a range of tools to quality inspect parts and components
