We are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor with strong technical expertise in dilapidations to join an SME based in Central London. You will be responsible for managing dilapidation instructions for both landlords and tenants, providing clear, commercially driven advice, and delivering high quality professional reports.

Your new role:
- Prepare and negotiate Schedules of Dilapidations (interim and terminal).
- Carry out detailed building surveys and condition assessments.
- Provide strategic advice on lease obligations, liabilities, and costed repair strategies.
- Prepare Scott Schedules, cost assessments, and technical reports.
- Work closely with clients, property managers, and legal teams to support dilapidation negotiations.
- Undertake related professional surveying work, including Schedules of Condition, refurbishment advice, and planned maintenance reporting.
- Manage multiple instructions, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- MRICS qualified.
- Proven experience in dilapidations within commercial property.
- Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and repair specifications.
- Confident in negotiating and presenting advice to clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
