The Opportunity:
Working within our Enterprise Solutions division, the Client Manager will be responsible for service delivery of a large-scale total talent management program for this long-standing, high profile and successful customer partnership. You will report directly into the Account Director.
Based in Southend, you will lead a well-established team responsible for end-to-end vacancy management, sourcing, supply chain management and compliance, and lead on key relationships within the customers’ HR, Talent and hiring manager communities. Successful delivery also relies on collaboration with Hays internal colleagues as well as supply chain partners. We are seeking a pro-active account manager who will lead by example and thrive in a role where multitasking is essential.
You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional service to the customer in line with our contractual commitments. This unique position requires someone who is not only a strong leader but also analytical, data driven, and displays strong customer centric behaviours.
This is a public services account so will likely suit someone who is passionate about the purpose and impact that public sector organisations have. Working knowledge of MSP’s and or RPO’s would be beneficial.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead team and manage overall service delivery
- Develop and nurture relationships with key contacts, internally and externally
- Provide specialist advice, support, and recommendations on specific market conditions
- Achieve budgets, contributing to team targets
- Identify and escalate areas for improvement in service delivery
- Manage customer or candidate disputes effectively
- Explore appropriate opportunities for additional Hays\’ services
- Ensure compliance with service agreements, contracts, and client requirements
- Develop a high-performance culture aligned with Hays\’ values
To be successful, you should have:
- Proven experience in engaging, collaborating, and understanding the demands of stakeholders (customers, candidates, suppliers, and internal colleagues)
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to analyse complex reports and data and present back to stakeholders regularly
- Effective objection handling and active listening skills
- Thorough understanding of the recruitment cycle and awareness of methods and techniques to support the process
- Ownership and accountability for workload and key deliverables
- Ambition to drive the service forward through continuous improvement
- Proficiency in managing compliance requirements and recruitment technology systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
