As the Client Account Manager, you'll help grow the business by creating and carrying out plans for important clients. You'll work closely with internal teams to provide solutions that meet client needs and find new ways to improve relationships and expand the business. You'll be a trusted advisor to customers, offering helpful insights and ensuring they get long-term value. Your job will include handling contract negotiations and making sure different teams work well together. Your efforts will be key in reaching revenue goals, keeping clients happy, and maintaining strong relationships with all main accounts.
The job:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients acting as their trusted advisor to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Create and follow strategic plans to grow revenue, improve client engagement, and find opportunities to sell more services.
- Keep client data updated and share important insights with internal teams to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Work closely with internal teams on pricing and proposals, making sure you deliver a high-quality service that meets client expectations.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage renewals, and ensure agreements are followed to prevent service disruptions.
- Run high-level service review meetings, coordinating internal teams and presenting service reports to senior stakeholders.
- Handle complex client issues quickly, working to resolve them and maintain trust during tough situations.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience within the technology, broadband, or telecoms industry, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues/clients.
- Strong skills in building and nurturing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor who understands business needs.
- Knowledge of contract negotiations and managing renewals, including the financial implications and profitability.
- Data-savvy, with the ability to analyse performance metrics, spot trends, and drive improvements.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams like sales, operations, and customer success for seamless service delivery.
- It is desirable to have prior experience in account management and any extra languages are beneficial.
