13 Week Rolling Contract
Paddington, London (Hybrid, 1 day a week in office)
The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for shaping, designing and assuring end-to-end telecom solutions that are aligned with the client's strategy, Enterprise Architecture principles, and the UK Telecommunications Security Act (TSA) together with associated Codes of Practice. The role combines core solution architecture responsibilities with telecom security architecture, ensuring that solutions across RAN, Core, OSS/BSS, Cloud and Infrastructure domains are secure-by-design, resilient, compliant, and operationally scalable.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the development of business cases including security impacts, remediation costs and implementation considerations.
- Build and maintain architectural knowledge repositories relating to telecom security, TSA compliance and network architecture.
- Define secure-by-design architectures including: Network segmentation, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Logging and monitoring, Encryption and backup controls.
- Collaborate with CIO Architecture, Cyber Security and IT stakeholders to ensure end-to-end alignment across telecom and enterprise systems.
- Support telecom security transformation programmes and remediation activities.
- Assess impacts of TSA obligations across telecom domains and operational processes.
Who we're looking for:
- Strong knowledge of the UK Telecommunications Security Act (TSA).
- Experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with and experience in the application of one or more architecture frameworks and any associated architecture development methods such as TOGAF.
- Experience in technically shaping (defining architecture and design) and delivering in fixed and mobile network areas.
