An established global financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a large-scale, complex transformation programme within Markets / Post-Trade / Clearing. This programme is critical to ongoing growth across EMEA and APAC regions, operating within a highly regulated environment and involving multiple systems and platforms.
The Role
This role will take ownership of early-stage project delivery, driving initiatives through to go-live across repo and post-trade domains. The successful candidate will work closely with product teams, compliance, and senior stakeholders, ensuring delivery aligns with regulatory and business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading delivery of repo-focused change initiatives across clearing/post-trade environments
- Engaging with product, regulatory/compliance, and technology teams
- Driving projects from initiation through to implementation and go-live
- Operating within a large, complex programme (£2-3m scope) spanning multiple platforms
- Ensuring delivery within a highly regulated financial services environment
- Collaborating across multiple regions and time zones (EMEA & APAC)
Requirements
- Extensive Project Management experience within Financial Services (senior level)
- Strong Repo Securities experience (key requirement)
- Exposure to Clearing (at least one project preferred) and/or broader Post-Trade
- Experience working with Tier 1 investment banks or major financial institutions
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders (ExCo-1 level)
- Strong understanding of product and regulatory environments
- Experience delivering complex, multi-system programmes
- Ability to operate in global, multi-location teams
