We’re looking for a Global Learning Content Designer to shape how learning is experienced, accessed, and adopted across Hays worldwide. This is not a traditional content design role. Reporting to our Global Head of Learning, you’ll go beyond building learning—acting as a problem solver who can diagnose capability needs and build solutions that truly land with global audiences. From concept through to adoption, you’ll take a holistic, end-to-end view of the learning experience to ensure content is not only high quality, but highly used and impactful. You’ll also be our go-to expert on learning platforms, leveraging their full potential to create engaging, personalised, and scalable learning experiences.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into effective learning solutions. This will involve challenging assumptions and recommending the right intervention—not always more content.
  • Taking a systems-thinking approach, considering how design and channel choices affect engagement, adoption, and business impact.
  • Advise best practices on the end-to-end learning experience in terms of learning journeys with the full lifecycle in mind: discovery, access, engagement, adoption, and application.
  • Continuously review and improve how learning is experienced globally, using data and insight to refine and optimise learning solutions.
  • Lead on our learning platforms experience, acting as a subject matter expert on our learning platforms (LMS/LXP), ensuring platform capabilities are optimised to increase visibility, engagement, and adoption of learning content.
  • Analyse user behaviour and engagement data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion best practice in digital learning experience design - to create scalable learning solutions that work across regions and cultures - ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and easy to consume for diverse audiences.

Role requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills—you don’t just create content, you improve outcomes.
  • Experience working with learning platforms and using them to drive engagement.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into improved design and adoption.
  • A user-centric mindset—you think about how learners will find, engage with, and apply learning.
  • Experience working in a global or complex organisation is a plus.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Learning is easy to find, engaging to use, and widely adopted across the organisation.
  • Stakeholders view you as a trusted partner, not just a content creator.
  • Learning platforms are used to their full potential to create impactful, personalised experiences.
  • Learning solutions contribute to measurable improvements in capability and performance.

At Hays, we share a passion for creating a culture of opportunities for our people to flourish and succeed, whatever your background. We know that diversity of perspective and an inclusive approach, which encourages those experiences and views to be heard, is great for business and therefore your career.
