Prestigious opportunity for a Cisco Voice Engineer to join a pioneering technology team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Cisco-based voice communication systems, dedicated to a strategic digital transformation of our network. As one of our Cisco Voice Engineers, you will:

  • Design, configure, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, and related voice systems.
  • Install and support Cisco voice gateways, routers, and switches.
  • Manage SIP trunking, dial plans, and call routing.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for voice-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimisations.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to project planning and delivery.

If you possess a combination of some of the following skills, then LETS TALK!

  • Experience with Cisco voice technologies.
  • Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323), QoS, and VLANs.
  • Experience with Cisco CUBE, Webex, and Cisco Emergency Responder (CER) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or CCIE Collaboration would also be desirable but not essential.
