We are seeking an experienced Logistics planner with specialisation in Process planning as well as experience with SAP. Demonstratable success in the fast-paced world of global supply chain management gained within industry, with automotive or aerospace industries being of special interest. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of robust processes and the management and procurement of the equipment required to deliver those robust processes.
You will be working in our logistics planning team with cross functional relationships across new product launch, future projects and bespoke customer individualisation teams.
- Project planning for new part and process introduction with high complexity.
- Design and control of part delivery methods to support the Assembly Production team.
- Utilisation of digital planning tools to ensure robust & consistent part supply.
- Leading change management processes closely supporting Assembly planning teams.
- Cost evaluation of process change impact on transport, handling and head count.
- Decision making based on analysis and visualisation of data.
- Cross functional liaison with external suppliers and internal process partners in planning, production and purchasing.
- Regular communication with production related functions in physical logistics and manufacturing.
- Close collaboration with company network locally and internationally.
- Alignment with logistics service providers to achieve company standards.
Master’s degree or relevant professional experience. Formal demonstratable qualification and training in logistics planning. Excellent knowledge of logistics processes. Ability to analyse and evaluate data. Knowledge of SAP, MS Office tools, Power BI & VBA coding are advantageous.
