Your new company: Working for a leading organisation in Chesterfield, you will join a thriving business as an Internal Sales Administrator on a permanent basis. This vacancy is not a sales role; you do not need sales experience, nor will you be asked to do sales.

Salary guide: £28,000 + a monthly bonus based on performance
Office hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.30 OFFICE BASED with one day working from home after probation. Parking available. New offices and facilities.
Your new role: This will be a busy role, the main purpose of the role will be to process customer sales orders and produce sales quotations. There isn’t any sales or selling involved in this role. The successful applicant will join a busy sales administration department and this role would suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for accurate sales order processing, receiving orders, producing quotes and following up on quotes to secure orders in a timely manner or to SLA agreement with customers.
- Produce accurate sales order quotes; templates are used but you will need to have a good eye for details to get the correct information into the quote.
- Contact customers to discuss the quote and obtain the order via email or phone, build relationships with customers.
- Update Excel based reports (An intermediate level of Excel will be required including ideally pivot table, v look up).
- Resolve invoice queries.
- Check stock and notify customers of delivery dates/changes to delivery dates.
- Discuss alternative product lines with customers where necessary.
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers if required.
- Completing Excel based sales reporting to show order updates and sales trends (daily/weekly/monthly).
What you’ll need to succeed: You will ideally have previous Sales Admin / Inside Sales / Internal Sales Admin experience. Intermediate level Excel skills are needed.
