Your new company is an award-winning multidisciplinary practice offering a range of design and build solutions, including architecture, building surveying, quantity surveying, and project management across the UK. They have adopted a flexible working approach and varied workload, not pigeonholing individuals into specialisms. Over the last 5 years, the company has seen successful sustainable growth, opening new offices in the North West and moving out of a serviced office space to acquire their own property, creating a state-of-the-art working environment (free parking on site). This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established SME business that welcomes new ideas, offers career development, variety in work, and flexible working hours (start and finish times to suit). There is an opportunity for rapid career progression while working across healthcare, education, defence, logistics, heritage, and retail sectors.
As a PQS Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in all aspects of quantity surveying, from pre-construction work and job running through to handover, including:

- Pre- and post-contract work.
- Tendering on behalf of clients when appropriate, collating contract documents, and implementing change control procedures.
Some travel will be required, but this is a PQS position as opposed to a site-based Quantity Surveyor.
What you'll need to succeed:
The ideal Quantity Surveyor must be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of cost consultancy and ideally have managed their own projects. Pre- and post-contract work experience is considered.
What you'll get in return:
- Competitive basic salary.
- Pool car access with mileage paid out in line with HMRC guidelines.
- BUPA healthcare.
- Flexible working hours.
- Top of the range office environment.
- RICS support from an APC Assessor.
- Annual pay review.
