Your new company: My client, a leading insurance claims organisation based in Warrington, is seeking a pair of professional recovery advisors to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in contemporary offices in Warrington with ample free parking, you will be joining a fast-paced and well-established team who all have a passion for going that extra mile with both internal and external customers.

Your new role: The position is offered full time Monday to Friday with a choice of either a 35 or 40-hour week. You will play a pivotal role in driving performance by identifying the root causes of payment delays and resolving barriers to settlement, taking confident ownership of complex recovery activity. This position focuses on delivering timely, accurate follow-up with insurers, customers and internal stakeholders to improve outcomes.

Some of your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Investigate payment delays, identify root causes and take ownership of resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain regular, professional communication with insurers, customers and internal teams to secure timely outcomes.
  • Take a self-motivated and organised approach to workload management, ensuring actions are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Support the Head of Department by contributing insight, raising concerns early and helping maintain high operational standards.
  • Provide proactive case management, clear prioritisation and focused follow-up on overdue payments.
  • Use data, system notes and data activity to spot trends, highlight risks and support continuous improvement in performance.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience within the insurance sector, with a strong understanding of claims, recoveries or dispute resolution.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A track record of managing payment queries, resolving delays and achieving positive recovery outcomes.
  • Confidence in investigating issues, identifying root causes and taking practical action to resolve them.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient approach, with the drive to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Attention to detail, sound judgement and an organised working style.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft applications and general IT systems.
  • Passion for going that extra mile.
