Your new company
Hays are delighted to be retained on the recruitment of a FP&A Director to join a large international group headquartered in the North West of England. The business operates across over 20 countries in the Engineering and Industrial space and has a turnover in excess of US$800 million. The group is owned by a large US-based entity and as such the group is subject to US reporting and forecasting timetables and regulations.
Your new role
As FP&A Director you will lead a team to implement robust processes to achieve forecasting and planning excellence across the group. You'll implement improved management information and dashboards and ensure reporting is completed within US-led deadlines. You will drive the implementation of Group KPIs across the entities and will develop and enhance the use of technology such as Power BI and the group consolidation and forecasting platform.
What you'll need to succeed
For this exciting role we are looking for a proven FP&A leader who has significant experience of working with US-owned groups and is familiar with US-led reporting standards and forecasting. You'll need strong technical FP&A skills: financial modelling, scenario analysis, consolidation, and management reporting at group level. You will have excellent communication skills and have a track record of operating as a true business partner to CFO-level and CEO-level stakeholders, translating financial complexity into clear strategic narrative. You'll have experience of leading a team, but also of influencing others in a matrix leadership structure across multiple geographies. As a pioneer and innovator, you'll embrace the use of technology including Power BI and be familiar with Consolidation and Forecasting platforms. Whilst this role can be primarily remote, you would be expected to travel to the North West periodically to collaborate with your colleagues. You should also be comfortable with occasional international travel.
What you'll get in return
In addition to a highly competitive salary in the region of £130,000 to £160,000, the role comes with a generous suite of corporate benefits including bonus, car allowance, and private healthcare. A full list of benefits is available upon application.
