We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team, delivering high-quality grounds services across social housing estates in the Crewe area. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining green spaces, communal areas, and residential environments to a clean, safe, and visually appealing standard for tenants and the wider community.
Your new role includes carrying out a full range of grounds maintenance duties across residential estates, including:
- Grass cutting and lawn care
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Strimming and edging
- Weed control and spraying (where qualified)
- Leaf clearance and seasonal work
- Maintain communal outdoor areas to a consistently high standard
- Ensure all work is completed in line with scheduled maintenance plans
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safely
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping
- Good knowledge of plants, seasonal work, and outdoor maintenance practices
- Full UK driving licence
- PA1 / PA6 Licence
