Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will support the Finance Director in delivering accurate weekly and monthly reporting for both site and group requirements. You will take ownership of key financial processes including cash flow forecasting, KPI reporting, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will play a key role in partnering with operational teams to drive factory performance, improve cost efficiency, and support working capital management. Responsibilities will also include VAT returns, credit control oversight, fixed asset management, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audit requirements. This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to the wider business, offering the opportunity to drive process improvements and contribute to ongoing system development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role within manufacturing or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reporting, and financial controls
- Experience with cash flow forecasting, KPI reporting, and variance analysis
- Good working knowledge of VAT and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
