Our client is a very established business and an expert in their field with over 350 employees.
Your new role
The role will be responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day logistics of the fleet across several different vehicle sectors, including Tipper vehicles. The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role, knowledge of Transport Legislation, have the ability to manage a demanding situation, and be a positive team player. It is essential to be competent in using the Microsoft Office packages and to be confident navigating online platforms, e.g. tracker and work allocation systems. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 7am-5.30pm, with every fourth Saturday morning on call. Communicate and allocate work with drivers as cost effectively and efficiently as possible. Oversee the day-to-day coordination of tipper operations to ensure service delivery and customer commitments are met.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with Logistics industry experience who has knowledge of tachograph and drivers' hours regulations. Good geographical knowledge, a positive attitude, a team player with good communication skills. Ability to deal with challenging situations.
