Hays Health & Safety are excited to be working with an established architecture firm with office locations in Manchester & Liverpool. This is an exciting role for the right candidate who is keen on fast tracking their CDM career with an organisation who is committed to progression and succession planning, with a view to progressing the successful candidate upwards through the organisation within the next 2-3 years into a senior role.
The successful candidate will have significant experience, knowledge and understanding of current CDM principles, experience writing construction phase plans and training and supporting site teams and key stakeholders on CDM and Health & Safety matters.
Your new role
- Work closely with project teams, including clients and designers, to deliver Principal Designer services and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
- Managing the pre-construction phase and contributing to the development of design safety strategies for construction.
- Keep all key stakeholders updated on H&S/CDM matters.
- Conduct site inspections and compliance audits.
- Prepare Health and Safety files and review operation and maintenance manuals.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, while also building new ones.
- Support in the development of bid submissions and fee proposals.
