A reputable organisation based in Newport is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a 10-month temporary assignment, with the potential for extension. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing end-to-end payroll on a regular basis
  • Ensuring payroll is accurate and compliant with current legislation
  • Managing starters, leavers, and employee changes
  • Handling payroll queries from employees in a timely manner
  • Calculating statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity
  • Liaising with HMRC and pension providers where required
