Your new company is a large NHS Health Board delivering a wide range of acute and community services across multiple sites. The organisation is undergoing ongoing estate development and investment, supporting the delivery of frontline healthcare services.
Your new role involves joining the estate's team on an initial 3-month contract (with a strong likelihood of extension), supporting the design, alteration and delivery of projects across the estate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing design schemes from brief through to detailed stage
- Producing and updating technical drawings (Revit preferred)
- Supervising and monitoring works on site to ensure quality and compliance
- Liaising with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring all works meet statutory, safety and NHS standards
- Supporting approvals including planning, building control and fire compliance
- Maintaining and updating estate drawings and asset records
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven background in building surveying, design or construction
- Experience delivering refurbishment and capital projects
- Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to operate effectively in a live, operational environment
- Proficiency in Revit/CAD and technical documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- NHS or public sector experience advantageous
