This temp Part Time HR Assistant role ensures accurate and timely administration of people / HR processes, supporting the effective delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle. This includes providing administrative and transactional support for recruitment, onboarding, contractual administration, exits, and employee relations casework for both substantive and atypical appointments.
Your new role:
- First line support for employees, managers, and candidates; escalate complex issues.
- Administer recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and leaver processes.
- Manage job ads, interviews, offers, and pre‑employment checks.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and accurate system updates.
- Process contractual changes and maintain compliant HR records.
- Coordinate leaver documentation and update systems confidentially.
- Provide admin support for employee relations casework.
- Maintain HR systems and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Complete right‑to‑work and statutory checks.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Support learning and development admin and systems.
- Coordinate training, events, inductions, and logistics.
- Maintain records, track spend, and produce evaluation reports.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Has experience providing a professional, customer-focused first point of contact.
- Proven experience in administering end-to-end HR processes.
- Experienced in maintaining HR systems and personnel records.
- Has experience using core Microsoft Office applications and HR systems to deliver efficient and accurate administrative support.
- Proven track record of handling sensitive information in compliance with legal and institutional protocols, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
