About the Role:

As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of projects, helping us win work and deliver value. You'll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure every bid is competitive, realistic, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse project drawings, specifications, and requirements
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Identify risks and opportunities in project scopes
  • Work closely with the commercial and project delivery teams
  • Maintain and update cost databases and pricing tools

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
