About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of projects, helping us win work and deliver value. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure every bid is competitive, realistic, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse project drawings, specifications, and requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify risks and opportunities in project scopes
- Work closely with the commercial and project delivery teams
- Maintain and update cost databases and pricing tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator (2 years preferred)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ConQuest, Causeway, Excel)
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
