In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently programming a wide variety of highways maintenance works, managing the permit process, and scheduling repairs for safety defects. This is a key position that ensures smooth coordination between teams and timely delivery of projects.
- Prepare highways maintenance programmes in collaboration with depot supervisors and area managers.
- Liaise with inspectors and local highways officers to ensure accurate work order information.
- Create, monitor, and update street works permits to maintain compliance.
- Maintain scheduling software and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, ideally proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in programming construction or maintenance works (highways experience preferred).
- Knowledge of the Traffic Management Act, NRSWA, and safety codes of practice.
