You will be joining a well-known and growing manufacturing business who, under a larger group, are looking to expand their sales & design team with the hire of an Applications Engineer! Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Working with the sales team with technical requests from customers
  • Offering technical solutions to customers at all stages of the design and sales processes
  • Preparing, potentially with the support of other company's functions, the offer (technical configuration, cost estimation, delivery date estimation, etc.)
  • Identifying new potential opportunities for the business i.e. turnkey solutions, process sales
  • Project management

Experience & Skills needed:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work with wider teams from design, shop floor, projects etc.
  • Ability to work with and explain technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
