About the role
As an Analytics Application Engineer, you will design and build lightweight analytics applications on our data platform. This will bring data together from multiple sources and enable business teams to explore, understand and act on trusted insights. You will also work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts and business stakeholders to translate user needs into intuitive applications, l reusable data products that improve how data is accessed, understood and used across the organisation.

Our client is currently looking for a new recruit in joining their Team please read on! You can also ask our friendly recruitment team any questions you may have about the role, between 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Shifts: Monday β Friday (37.5 hours per week)
The must haves:
- Hands on experience developing data or analytic applications in Python using Streamlit, Dash or a similar framework
- Experience designing, testing and maintaining user-facing applications, including the use of version control
- Strong SQL skills and experience analysing and integrating data sets from multiple sources
- Experience with Databricks (or similar modern data platforms)
- Working experience with notebooks and Python data libraries and processing frameworks (e.g. Pandas, PySpark)
- Understanding of deployment, CI/CD, orchestration and application support practices.
