Your new company
This is an exciting time to join this forward-thinking logistics company as they seek to develop and grow their customer base both in the UK and internationally. This newly created position is to expand their business, including opening up new transportation methods such as sea and air.
Your new role
Working closely with the directors, you will be encouraged to proactively build new relationships and win new clients both in the UK and overseas. You will be confident picking up the phone and identifying opportunities for business growth, demonstrating solid knowledge and understanding of the challenges and solutions your team can provide within the logistics sector. The company already has a strong proven record and client base, so this role is key to the ambitious business growth plans.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be committed to excellent customer service and be confident operating within a sales-based role. You will be confident speaking to clients on the phone and email with the potential for some face-to-face client meetings. You will be tenacious and able to spot buying signals, building strong rapport to onboard new clients.
Some knowledge and experience of business development within the logistics sector would be beneficial, but full training can be given to the right individual.
