A leading Japanese Investment Bank is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their London-based office within the Systems Development team. The client is currently delivering a range of regulatory and strategic initiatives and requires support with the delivery and oversight of payments-related projects.
Job Details:
Start date - ASAP
Duration - 6 months initial
Rate - £600-£700pd Inside via Umbrella
Location - London
Hybrid - 2-3 days a week in the office
Key requirements:
- Strong understanding of the software development process and project lifecycle.
- Proven ability to gather and specify business requirements for new and existing applications.
- Excellent business acumen and client-facing skills.
- Experience with payment system integration and knowledge of banking systems.
- Familiarity with domestic and international payment schemes (e.g. BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, SWIFT, CBPR+).
- Understanding of payment messaging formats including SWIFT FIN MT, XML ISO20022 (pain, pacs, camt), and BACS Std. 18.
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, XSD, MQ, API, Postman, and ETL is desirable.
- Experience with OPF systems, Loans, Money Market, Trade Finance, Derivatives, and FX Products is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence is desirable.
