This is a highly visible leadership position with significant scope to influence both the client proposition and the future development of the business.Alongside managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients, you'll help identify new opportunities, strengthen professional networks and support the firm's wider growth strategy. With succession planning firmly on the agenda, the business is keen to attract commercially minded leaders who can help drive the next stage of growth and develop into future partnership opportunities.What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you'll be a qualified accountant (ICAS, ICAEW or ACCA) with substantial experience working with owner-managed businesses and SMEs. You'll possess a strong technical grounding in accounts preparation, financial reporting and UK taxation, alongside a commercial mindset and the ability to build trusted client relationships.You will be a confident communicator who enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues alike, with proven experience leading and developing teams. Strong organisational skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine interest in helping businesses succeed will be essential.
