Immediate need for a temporary Finance Manager based on the South side of Bury St Edmunds - IP29. Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting an organisation based between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager or AP & AR Manager to support the transactional finance team for 6 months as they go through a period of change due to expansion and the introduction of NetSuite.
In this temporary Finance Manager role, you will report to the Regional Finance Manager / Managing Director and oversee the team who undertake sales and purchase ledger processing, reconciling supplier statements as well as bank account reconciliations. You will also assist at month-end with journals and collating financial data for early preparation of monthly management accounts with the Regional Finance Manager, so you need to be confident in managing a finance team as well as investigating and resolving invoice queries.
This will be an ongoing temporary finance job for 6 months based on 5-days in an office located in the IP29 area of Suffolk, which is on the south side of Bury St Edmunds, and, due to their location, you will need to drive.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- You will be immediately available with your own transport.
- You have experience of managing or supervising a finance team.
- You are comfortable processing invoices and resolving queries.
- The key focus will be managing their high volume and complex purchase invoices for Head Office costs as well as invoices which need to be allocated to specific projects.
