The school will provide a high-quality, academically ambitious education for children aged 3-7, with a strong emphasis on language development, character education, and a broad, knowledge-rich curriculum.
This role offers the chance to be part of a founding teaching team, contributing to the development of the school's ethos, curriculum, and classroom culture from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the Early Years Foundation Stage and/or Key Stage 1
- Create a calm, positive and purposeful classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic progress and personal development
- Foster independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality of provision
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and safeguarding
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold QTS or EYTS (essential)
- Have experience teaching within EYFS and/or KS1 settings
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of child development and effective teaching practice
- Are reflective, motivated, and committed to delivering high standards
- Are enthusiastic about contributing to a growing school community
- Bring a positive, professional, and nurturing approach to teaching
- Specialisms in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, PE, Art, or Languages are welcomed but not essential.
- Experience within the independent sector
- Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. Master's degree)
