Your new company is a well-established, professional-led multidisciplinary consultancy seeking a Building Surveyor to join their growing Project Management team. The practice delivers high-quality project management, architectural and building surveying services across the commercial, education and residential sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor to work within a collaborative team environment, delivering projects on behalf of clients from inception through to completion.

Your new role involves working within the Project Management team, liaising closely with design teams and external stakeholders to deliver a variety of projects, particularly within the education sector, including capital funding and refurbishment programmes. The role encompasses early-stage project development, funding applications, detailed design coordination, tendering, site inspections and contract administration. This will include identifying viable capital and refurbishment projects through defect analysis and condition surveys, preparing specifications and tender documentation, contract administration and employers' agent duties.

What you'll need to succeed: In order to be successful for this role, you should have a minimum of an RICS accredited degree (or similar) and experience of working as a Building Surveyor in a project management environment. Experience delivering education projects is desirable, although not essential. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.
