This role is responsible for VAT compliance oversight and indirect tax optimisation for the group's UK entities. There is also scope to advise on indirect tax-related projects in the UK and across Europe.
Strong UK indirect tax exposure and compliance oversight gained either in industry or a major accountancy firm. Exposure to employment tax and plastic packaging tax would also be beneficial but not essential.
This role is largely stand-alone from an indirect tax perspective, offering full autonomy and responsibility for VAT in the UK.
