Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients: annual self-assessment tax returns, tax planning, onboarding, and ongoing support.
Provide proactive tax advice to individuals, including high-net-worth clients, business owners, and families.
Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, including trainees and junior tax staff.
Promote personal tax services in the local community and through professional networks.
Meet prospective personal tax clients and convert opportunities.
Collaborate across the group to optimise workflows and resources, especially between tax and accounts teams.
Ensure billing, client service, and documentation is accurate and timely, in line with regulatory requirements.
Qualified tax professional (CTA, ATT, ACCA/ICAEW with significant personal tax experience, or equivalent).
Corporate Tax experience an advantage
Delivery of high quality, accurate, and timely work.
Demonstrated expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
Commercial judgement
Excellent relationship management, promoting trust, providing proactive advice, and collaborating on clients' personal financial goals.
