About the role: You'll join a forward-thinking, data-driven business that helps organisations better understand and manage their energy usage, supporting cost reduction and sustainability goals. As People Advisor, you will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers across a diverse workforce (field and office-based)
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, absence and performance matters
  • Coach and upskill line managers to build capability and confidence
  • Support people initiatives, change activity and ongoing business growth
  • Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and best practice
  • Work closely with Business Partners and the wider People team to deliver a joined-up, high-quality HR service

You'll report into the HR Business Partner for Operations and be part of a supportive, 12-person People team known for collaboration, pace and strong business relationships.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Solid experience in an HR Advisory role, ideally within an operational or field-based setting
  • Strong employee relations capability with confidence handling complex cases
  • A practical, solutions-focused and commercially aware approach
  • Credibility, approachability and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Curiosity and a genuine interest in how the business operates
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
  • Availability at short notice (within one month) is advantageous
