IT Project Manager is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.

Your new role

We have the opportunity of an IT Project Manager to join our client’s team in the Somerset or the Bristol office. The team works on a hybrid working basis and are also open to remote opportunities.

  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Location: Somerset/Bristol
  • Daily rate: Up to £470.00 a day Umbrella (Inside IR35)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours

Role Purpose

As an IT Project Manager, you will be working with a variety of teams and stakeholders to manage, coordinate and deliver a variety of project focused artificial intelligence, infrastructure and application-related projects, delivered by the Digital and IT team. You would also be coordinating the alignment and approval of solution design and delivery activities, managing outcomes against time, cost and quality.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of successful project management delivery and change in complex and evolving environments.
  • Experience in project management, ideally in an IT technical area and IT environment.
  • Previous experience in Nuclear New Build or Operations.
  • Management of budgets and resources.
  • Confident decision-making ability with good protocols for gaining stakeholder agreement where necessary.
  • Understanding of technology assurance and governance processes, including the purpose of design reviews and architectural compliance and approval gates.
