Your new company HAYS Cardiff are recruiting a traffic marshall to join a major multi-award-winning Tier One construction company on an exciting new project in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for short-term work with the potential to move into future projects.
Your new role
You will be part of a professional construction team helping to build a state-of-the-art facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct and control vehicle movements safely in high-risk or congested areas
- Use approved hand signals and communication methods to guide drivers manoeuvring vehicles
- Maintain a safe distance between vehicles, pedestrians, and work activities
- Ensure site traffic management plans are followed at all times
- Monitor access and egress points to control the flow of traffic on and off site
- Communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators, and site personnel
What you will need to succeed
- Proven experience working as a traffic marshall on construction sites.
- An in-person valid in-date NPORS Card is a must.
- Full PPE and a strong awareness of site safety.
- Strong candidates will be reliable, punctual and have a proactive approach to any task given to them.
- Good construction reference is required.
