We are currently recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in West Yorkshire, supporting pupils across all key stages. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals who have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and are committed to helping pupils reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs
  • Support children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Implement tailored strategies and interventions to support learning and behaviour
  • Create a safe, nurturing and supportive learning environment

We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Experience supporting children with a range of SEND needs, such as:
  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Learning Difficulties
  • A patient, empathetic and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups
