Your New Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver dynamic, well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 teaching depending on experience. You will bring the curriculum to life through inquiry-led learning, strong geographical enquiry skills and real-world application. This full-time temporary role (Monday-Friday) includes:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned Geography lessons
- Using assessment effectively to track progress and support student achievement
- Preparing learners for GCSE examinations and internal assessments
- Contributing to fieldwork planning, enrichment activities and curriculum development
- Upholding the school's behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion policies
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, you will be joining a supportive team that values creativity, reflective practice and shared success.
What You'll Need to Exceed: To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- QTS/QTLS (PGCE, Geography specialism or equivalent route)
- Recent experience teaching Geography within a secondary setting
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering engaging, enquiry-based lessons
- Excellent classroom management and commitment to high expectations
- A reflective mindset, enthusiasm for continuous development and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to obtain)
