We are seeking an experienced and confident Key Stage 2 teacher to provide short-term cover in a Year 3 class from 23rd February to 27th March. This role would suit a teacher with strong classroom management skills and experience supporting pupils with additional needs. Due to the nature of the class, this position is not suitable for ECTs.
The Role:
- Full teaching responsibility for a Year 3 class
- Supported in class by a Cover Supervisor
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining established routines
- Creating a calm, structured and positive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified and experienced primary teacher
- Have recent experience in KS2, ideally Year 3
- Be confident managing behaviour and meeting diverse learning needs
- Be reliable, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
