We're recruiting for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join a specialist facilities maintenance and engineering team supporting a high-profile defence estate. Working across a variety of commercial and residential buildings, you'll play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure through both planned and reactive maintenance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload, values autonomy, and takes pride in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you'll be part of a small HVAC team responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across HVAC systems. Minor installation, refurbishment and upgrade works. Liaising professionally with site stakeholders, contractors and operational teams. Supporting the delivery of a first-class maintenance service within a secure environment. The role offers a good balance of independent working and collaboration with wider engineering and operational teams. City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or equivalent. F-Gas Category 1 qualification. Proven experience carrying out HVAC maintenance and repairs. Full UK Driving Licence. Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance. Experience working within commercial or government facilities environments. Competitive salary of £40,000 - £44,000 depending on experience. Company van and fuel card. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. 6% matched pension contribution. Stable, long-term permanent position. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
