Norwich accountancy firm are expanding their finance team and require 2 new bookkeepers
Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with one of Norfolk’s growing accountancy firms who specialise in corporate finance, personal tax, legal, medical, business strategy and support, and business recovery in their search for two bookkeepers with salaries ranging from £22,300 to £30,000, depending on experience.
Your new role
In these newly created bookkeeper jobs, you will be responsible for working with a variety of businesses in the preparation of bookkeeping across all the ledgers to trial balance through to submission of VAT returns and the production of management accounts to be reviewed by a senior accountant of the firm. Any experience working for a firm of chartered accountants is preferred, but this is not essential. However, you must have experience of bookkeeping and be able to support a range of businesses.
You will have experience of using cloud-based accountancy software and this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your accountancy career as you will be working with the wider business and their VAT specialists.
What you’ll need to succeed
As explained, the firm is looking to recruit 2 bookkeepers and will consider candidates who are looking to step up into a bookkeeper role as you may be studying AAT and have an understanding of trial balance, as well as more experienced bookkeepers / assistant management accountants who are keen to work with a firm of chartered accountants.
Ideally, you will have experience of account preparation with a firm of chartered accountants. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates who have the relevant bookkeeping skills for commercial business but are looking to move into practice.
What you’ll get in return
The organisation offers an excellent overall benefits package with salaries for these two roles ranging from £23,000 – £30,000 depending on experience, as well as paid holidays, a 37.5 hour working week, (part-time hours will be considered) and flexible working.
