Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of electrical services design across multiple high-profile projects. You will be responsible for concept, development and detailed design, ensuring all solutions are technically robust, compliant and aligned with client expectations.
Your role will involve:
- Leading the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security, communications and renewable technologies.
- Coordinating closely with mechanical, architectural and structural teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Managing client relationships, attending design meetings and presenting technical information clearly and confidently.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing development of the building services offering.
This is a senior, client-facing position with the opportunity to influence design strategy and contribute to major projects across the region.
What you will need to succeed
- Significant experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, industry standards and CIBSE guidance.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech/Trimble and Dialux/Relux.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence managing client interfaces.
- Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering; Chartership (CEng) or working towards it is highly desirable.
- A proactive mindset, strong technical capability and the ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
