Hays are delighted to be partnering with a leading FTSE-listed organisation to recruit a Dutch Speaking Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial accounting operations of the Dutch business unit, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the period-end close process
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
- Maintaining financial records
- Reconciling bank accounts and general ledger balances
- Ensuring the integrity of financial data
You will work closely with operational stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted finance contact for financial management queries while contributing to projects and continuous improvements to finance processes, controls and reporting standards.
Requirements:
- Fluent Dutch and English language skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience within a financial accounting or management accounting role
- Strong knowledge of month-end processes and reconciliations
- Strong Excel and systems skills
