We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Partner to join a high-impact programme within a busy operational directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a large-scale recruitment plan, supporting the mobilisation of over 700 roles across a diverse and essential service.
Working closely with the Resourcing Lead, you will be embedded within the directorate and collaborate with service leaders and Heads of HR to deliver end-to-end recruitment. You will play a critical role in ensuring recruitment activity is delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with agreed processes, while supporting a high-volume and fast-paced hiring environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage full life cycle recruitment across a high volume of roles
- Partner with service leaders and HR teams to deliver against an ambitious workforce plan
- Provide expert advice on recruitment best practice and ensure process adherence
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing and guiding them to achieve effective outcomes
- Support consistency and quality across all recruitment activity
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within high-volume or operational hiring
- Experience within or alongside the public sector (desirable)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, guide and constructively challenge
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver at pace
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale and high-profile recruitment programme, working alongside experienced leaders in a collaborative environment. The initial contract is for six months, with a strong likelihood of extension, and offers a competitive hourly rate.
